London Shopping
As one of the biggest and most famous cities in the world, it is not surprising that London is home to some of the best shopping in Europe. The Bloomsbury area of London in particular has a large amount of stores and shops, great variety, and provides a wonderful shopping experience for travelers and tourists.
One of the first places to stop on your shopping adventure is the Brunswick Centre. Here you can find shops of all sorts, selling a variety of items. If you're into fashion and clothing, they have fashion shops that include Hobbs, L K Bennett, Coast, New Look, and Oasis. You can also find stores selling beauty products, books, tea, food, and more.
Book lovers will be pleased to know that Bloomsbury is home to a number of fine book shops, as well as many interesting and unusual book shops selling stuff you may not find at your local bookstore. Head to the London Review Bookshop for a lovely shop with a wide range of books. They also have a very good selection of academic literature and is host to literature discussions, presentations, and lectures. Gosh! is a comic book store where you can find graphic novels, comic books, and manga, both used and new, at good prices. Bookmarks is a good place to find unique books that you may not find in mainstream book stores. It is a shop front for the Socialists, so you'll find lots of socialist reading material, but there are other treasures here as well, both used and new.
Another great area of Bloomsbury to go to in order to find a large range of stores in Tottenham Court Road. You'll find electronics stores like Micro Anvika and The Digital Centre, stationers like Ryman The Stationer, department stores like Heal's, and many fast food restaurants and cafes. There are many familiar chain stores here, as well as a few unique independent stores nestled in between them. It is one of the best places to go if you want to find stores that sell things other than just clothes and fashion accessories.
